Infiltrator's
saga begins in the not too distant future....
How
does the future differ from the world as you know it today? How
does man's interactions with one another differ from those of
today?
War
as we know it today, does not exist in the future. The human race
has been able to contain the various regional and global conflicts
that have erupted - or have they? The wars of the future is based
on more intangible commodities. Instead of nations squaring off
against one another in the quest of resources and nationalism
- there is now a higher, more dominant power. - that of the corporations.
Global
dominance is no longer dependant on a nations flag, or even it's
leaders. The multi-national corporations of the future are now
omnipotent entities, with the resources and the conviction to
attain their goals - whatever the cost. Generals and the vast
armies that follow them now follow the orders of these corporations.
You now have the chance to become one of these new "soldiers".
However, you are not going to be a solider in the armed
forces - your weapons and orders now come directly from the boardroom.
Depending on the choices you make, your character will be recruited
by one of these corporations. Have you chosen well? Is your ideological
view compatible to that of the chairman's? Do you have the ability
to match wits and the prowess of your opponents? The stake of
your corporation, in fact even your very life will depend on your
ability to assimilate into this corporate shadow world, and become
the successful soldier of the future.
Welcome
to the world of Infiltrator:
Shadow Wars.
The
world of tomorrow is full of corporate sponsored henchmen, assassins,
spies, double agents, revolutionaries and terrorists. In Infiltrator
: Shadow Wars you will take the role of an agent, commando or
other adventurer of your choosing - and embark on a series of
perilous missions to strength (or in some cases, undermine) your
corporations long term goals. The dynamics of your successes -
or lack thereof - will ultimately impact the fate of the world
and your organization.
Your
enemies and your friends work in this corporate world alongside
you. Now you must question their intentions, and that of yourself.
How do you determine whose a friend or foe? Who do you trust?
Are you a rogue agent working for hire, or waiting for that corporate
recruiter to come knocking at your door? You are about to enter
this shadowy world, which is ultimately shaped by your actions.
Ultimately your ability to lead or execute orders/missions depends
upon the skills you choose to enhance and what tactics you employ
to complete your missions. The corporation you represent may have
goals and motives which differ from yours, but you choose how
to represent your loyalty to your corporation.
Infiltrator
still maintains all of the standards of an RPG/Strategy game:
from clandestine operations to exploring a huge, interactive environment.
You will find exotic new weapons, and have the ability to enhance
and extend the research of these new covert "tools".
You will learn to become a member, or even a leader of a team
of corporate agents.
Question
your enemies, question your friends, but most of all question
yourself.
Be
prepared to enter a world unlike any seen.
